Serving Through Jesus Christ

Join us in Celebration of Jesus Christ, Our Savior

Our Mission at Peoples United Methodist Church is to always be anchored in Christ, to make disciples of Jesus Christ, to be inclusive and welcoming of all persons, to share our faith through words and actions, to do all the good we can through creative outreach; all to the glory of God.

Our Vision Statement

Our Vision is to be disciples of Jesus Christ, as committed and caring people who are willing to take risks in order to serve our communities and the world by:

  • Becoming a loving family of hope as we share and lead people to the promises of Jesus Christ.
  • Outreach – to increase our awareness of outreach opportunities.
  • Loving – caring and giving of ourselves from changed hearts
  • Encouraging youth in their faith journey by offering opportunities to learn about God and His awesome work, and discovering that He is fun
  • Serving others as a reflection of Christ’s purpose for the world
  • Providing all individuals opportunities for a commitment to Jesus Christ:
Developing their full potential as Christians by worshiping God, studying, sharing and coming together in fellowship

A Message from Pastor Ellen Bridge

With today's current affairs we are offering our worship services online via Facebook and in our church. We take the recommended CDC precautions to keep our worshippers safe with social distancing and mask requirements. I myself, will take my mask off when I am in the pulpit but am at least twelve feet from everyone. Thank you for your patience as we adjust to technology. Blessings all!
